we are very aware that rotorua holds a unique beauty, set between a lake with very obvious thermal activity and a forrest that lives up to it's name "redwood" forest and there is so much more to explore at your leisure. we would suggest at least 2/3 days to explore and enjoy the surroundings, cultural influences and the beauty of the lake.
